During tea time, we enjoyed the food and the awesome bobo teas.
I shared with the ladies that the story behind the bi-monthly event was to first develop friendships. If you want friends, you must show yourself friendly, take a leap and reach out to others. Those assigned to you will come, no matter the number of people who show up.
We played numerous games, “kind words bingo”, a game I found in the dollar store. I gave each person a dice, Life sometimes feels like a game of chance, but it is not because each number has a meaning. We must be intentional in our choices, to make them matter not only to ourselves but to at least another person.
I also gave each person a copy of my book, Waterfalls of God’s Mercies: Healing after Brokenness. Be merciful to self and others, just like God is to us, especially in the not so parts of life’s “messiness”.

Like the butterfly going thru metamorphosis, we allow God's process to change us into a #NewCreature. Each of us is a #Pearl - more precious than anything because we pursue #GodsWord and #wisdom.

This in-person event provided a safe space to connect with like-minded individuals, discover inner strengths, and embrace positive change.
